The prizes described below are provided by the Ing Foundation.
They have not yet confirmed the figures, which may therefore be subject to change.
All prizes are denominated in Taiwanese Dollars.
Prize money may be subject to taxation. The sums given are gross of any tax which may be due.
Computer v. Computer
- 1st prize: NT$ 200,000
- 2nd prize: NT$ 40,000
- 3rd prize: NT$ 20,000
If four or fewer programs take part in the final competition, prize amounts will halved.

The prizes are totals for each match.
In early November 1998, the approximate rates were:
1 £ (pound sterling) | = | 54.5 NT$
